Our Story
From humble beginnings in early 2003, Dux Café Restaurant has become an iconic part of the South Perth and Como Community.
Our motto, “Premium Food….Prepared Fresh For You”, reflects a passion to live and work in a place that evolves to meet customer’s expectations. Our flexible and fresh approach has helped Dux become a meeting place where people return again and again.
Our aim at Dux has always been to please everyone. Too often we seem to hear the old saying “You can’t please everyone” but we like to prove this wrong.
All our food is prepared, cooked and served fresh on site, which enables our team of fully qualified and highly trained chefs to cater for a variety of tastes and dietary requirements. Our front of house staff are trained to back this up with a professional ‘can do’ approach. Coffee is a passion with all our baristas undergoing intense training.
As head chef, David develops his menus around fresh, seasonal produce. Local growers and suppliers are used as often as possible with a significant portion of our herbs, lettuce and vegetables coming from Pop’s home garden. He uses no pesticides or chemicals and only organic fertilisers.
All our chicken products are free range and our meat and poultry is chemical and antibiotic free. Fish of the day is ordered daily and is line caught in Western Australia or farmed in Australia.
From the time you walk in the door our aim will always be to serve you with passion and care. Try us once and you will soon become part of the ever-expanding Dux Club.
